Upshur County residents, still angered over the changes created by the state-mandated addressing and mapping project, questioned county commissioners Thursday as to why the work needed to be done in the first place.

More than 100 people attended a public meeting Tuesday at Buckhannon-Upshur High School on the proposed Potomac-Allegheny Transmission Highline route that cuts through the center of Upshur County.
Members of the Upshur County Board of Education received reports Tuesday from school officials regarding transportation needs, policies for use of school facilities and athletic programs at Buckhannon-Upshur High School.
