A 35-year-old East Randolph man was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident Monday after police found his abandoned car in the middle of a Williamstown road.

A Texas man convicted of helping destroy evidence that implicated the former stepfather of a slain 12-year-old Vermont girl has been sentenced to a year in prison.

Two local personalities will highlight Randolph's Memorial Day observance in the East Randolph Cemetery on Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m. Ceyanne France is the Poppy Girl of the Year and will not only help distribute the veteran's poppy in the business section but will place the wreath at the monument during the official observance in the cemetery.
