Tuesday's skies looked like an incoming storm. The air was dark and thick; however, instead of water, this cloud was raining ash.

A health advisory prompted by high algae levels found in two Lane County reservoirs: Dexter Reservoir, located 22 miles southeast of Eugene and Dorena Reservoir, located six miles east of Cottage Grove, was issued today by the Oregon Department of Human Services and the Lane County Health Department.

A 22-year-old Sutherlin man died Tuesday evening after he crashed his motorcycle in Cottage Grove.

A body recovered in a forested area near Dorena, south of Wicks Road, has been identified as that of Thomas Davis, 40, a missing Springfield man.

A man last seen in May who likes to camp in the wilderness and hang out in the Whiteaker neighborhood of Eugene has become the focus of a broader search.
