BAKERSVILLE - The Bakersville Presbyterian Church will host a dedication service for the church's new addition at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 28, followed by a covered dish luncheon at 11:30 a.m. The addition, which began in July 2008, features a new entry way, restrooms on the first floor and redecorating of the foyer.

WOOSTER - Secrest Arboretum will host a free public bird walk from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9. The event will be led by members of the Greater Mohican Audubon Society.
