GOLDENS BRIDGE - Emergency workers searched the Muscoot Reservoir for hours Sunday after fishing equipment was found near a large hole in the ice.

SOMERS - A fire that started in the basement of a Moore Drive home Wednesday morning caused extensive smoke damage throughout the house, although most of the fire damage was limited to the basement, Somers Fire Chief John Meeker said.
