A deadly two vehicle crash has shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate-80 near mile marker 384 just east of the Milford Interchange.

A Wednesday night crash claimed two lives and injured three other people. It happened in Seward County, west of Lincoln, just before 7:00 p.m. The crash involved a car and a pickup near the westbound I-80 near the Milford Interchange.

Accident scenes proved dangerous for three Seward County emergency responders. Sheriff Joe Yocum, a sheriff's sergeant and a rescue squad member all were injured as they responded to a wave of accidents in the blowing snow.
