The Montana Land Board is holding public hearings this week over whether to lease for development state land near Ashland that contains roughly 600 million tons of coal.
Park Improvements Ed Olmstead, representing the Edgemont Lions Club, explained that the Lions Club has been working on park improvements and they would like to return the "peninsula" to its original island formation and place a bridge between the park and the island.
