Interstate 90 motorists are advised of speed reductions and lane restrictions between Wells and Alden beginning May 5, when a major resurfacing project begins. The two-way, two-lane traffic restrictions will be in place until November.
The crash happened at a railroad crossing near the intersection of Highway 109 and 620th Avenue northwest of Alden shortly before 3:30 p.m. Authorities on the scene confirm to KIMT News 3 that the semi tanker typically hauls anhydrous ammonia, but was empty at the time of the crash. No serious injuries are reported.
