PORT HURON TWP. - When Sarah Fortune realized the wind and rain outside was much more than a typical summer thunderstorm, she decided to take cover somewhere other than her basement-less house.
A narrow storm squall ripped through southern Port Huron causing trees and branches to break and fall onto power lines and at least one home, officials said.
