A southern Indiana man is in jail on $1 million bond. Daviess County authorities arrested 35-year-old Brad Edwards, of Montgomery, on a long list of charges stemming from a high-speed pursuit last week in the Alfordsville area.

Pursuant to I.C. 14-34, the Director of Department of Natural Resources has approved and issued a permit renewal to conduct surface coal mine and reclamation operations by Solar Sources Inc.

Beginning last year, all taxing entities except the school systems are required to submit budgets to the county council for review.
