Commercial crew launches will reduce the cost, per seat, of transporting NASA astronauts to the space station compared to what the agency must pay the Russian Federal Space Agency for the same service.

The school also plans to have counselors available for students.

-- It's an unlucky day for the California Lottery. A computer glitch on Monday shut down lottery terminals around the state, preventing gamblers from getting numbers for Powerball and other games. Lottery spokesman Alex Traverso says there was a loss of signal that prevented the terminals from connecting to the system that generates the numbers. Traverso says about 350 out of 22,000 stores were affected, some for as long as five hours, but the problem was resolved by late Monday afternoon. The cause of the problem is being investigated.
