The luncheon menu will include Pride of the Prairie Stew, Ken's Gourmet Beans, Methodist Cornbread, all the trimmings, and homemade peach cobbler. Four quilts will be offered for sale including a vintage Double Wedding Ring, vintage top Painted Prairie, Lucille's English Garden, and Red Centre. The latter three were quilted by the First United Methodist Quilting Bee. Five baby quilts will be sold as well as handmade gift items and Cindy Player's cookbook. Proceeds will be used for the group's mission projects and community philanthropies.

Project Noel Altus co-organizers, Mike and Mitzi Pate, announce that Project Noel Altus 2015 is now under way. Project Noel Altus has grown into a community project involving many churches, businesses and organizations. Approximately 6,000 children received gifts through Project Noel over the past eight years. Altus First United Methodist Church, DHS, individuals, families, and many other churches, organizations and businesses from around the Altus area will again be partnering together to provide the Christmas gifts.
